Kushala: Spirit Rider Bandana By Taboo and Jessica Gokey

To celebrate his new comic book project with Marvel, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas (Shoshone)  wanted to create a bandana that featured the character Kushala, Spirit Rider. In collaboration with Jessica Gokey (Lac Courte Oreilles) who Taboo sought out and requested to do the design work, this bandana has come to life. Jessica, Taboo and Teton Trade Cloth worked together to develop this special design- and we could not be more excited!

Kushala rides again in the upcoming Marvel Comics one-shot Spirits of Vengeance: Spirit Rider. Black Eyes Peas' Taboo is working with long-time friend/co-writer B. Earl on this special one-shot, with art from Paul Davidson and Jeffrey Veregge. Kushala is an early 19th century Apache warrior who, after asking for vengeance for the murder of her parents by the U.S. Army, became bestowed with the spirit of vengeance, Ghost Rider.  She took that mantle, but found it to be a curse - and traveled the world to find a cure. Along the way, she attained magic abilities and eventually became that era's Sorcerer Supreme - although even it couldn't rid her of the Ghost Rider persona. (Credit: Games Radar)

A portion of the proceeds from this design will be donated to a non-profit organization of Taboo's choice.

Oversized, 24 inch, 100% cotton, soft vintage feel. These are the finest on the market. These bandanas are large like old vintage bandanas, they fit, feel and look better.  Made in USA.
